Complex poems that harken back to a time that we somehow remember as better than now. Also, we like to use the word "harken" because it seems very poetic in a classical way.
I find Renuzit poetry some of the best. I often wonder why so many male shower accidents involve these torpedo-shaped air fresheners? Probably user error. I mean why leave them lying on the ground when everyone knows how slippery the floor can be? One illadvised step and ... well, call 911.
With regard to this poem, I find it enlightening and explosive while still being subtle and gentle. When a medical emergency can be handled with such sensitivity, you've created real advanced poetry.
